  • Eligibility and Requirements
    • Applicant must be 50 years or older
    • Non-Immigrant Visa O (90 days) with at least 60 days stay in Thailand
    • Non-O & Non-O-A: monthly income ≥ 65,000 THB or savings + pension ≥ 800,000 THB (last 3 months)
    • Non-O-X: monthly income ≥ 100,000 THB or savings + pension ≥ 3,000,000 THB (last 3 months)
    • Financial documents from Thai banks are required
    • Must have valid health insurance covering stay period
    • Employment in Thailand is strictly prohibited
  • Required Documents
    • TM.86 / TM.87 application form
    • Passport copy (info page, entry stamp, extension stamp, TM.6)
    • 1 photo 4x6 cm
    • Application fee 2,000 THB
    • Recent financial documents with applicant’s name
    • Embassy/consular certificate confirming ≥ 65,000 THB/month income
    • Proof of funds + income ≥ 800,000 THB/year
    • Proof of residence in Thailand (rental contract, house registration, receipts)
  • Post-Visa Guidelines
    • Apply for renewal at least 21 days before expiry
    • 1-year visa holders must report every 90 days
    • Report 14 days before or within 7 days after due date
    • Overstay of 90-day reporting incurs 2,000–4,000 THB fine
    • Re-entry resets 90-day reporting
    • Single-entry visas require Re-Entry Permit before leaving Thailand
  • Financial Requirements
    • Savings ≥ 800,000 THB or monthly income ≥ 65,000 THB
    • Combined income + savings must ≥ 800,000 THB/year
    • After 3 months, withdrawal allowed but must maintain ≥ 400,000 THB
    • Funds must be in Thai bank, income must be embassy-certified
  • Financial Conditions for Renewal
    • 800,000 THB in Thai bank for at least 2 months before applying
    • After approval, balance must remain ≥ 400,000 THB for 3 months
    • Income must be ≥ 65,000 THB/month or ≥ 800,000 THB/year
    • 12 months bank statement + updated bank letter required
    • Non-compliance may result in visa denial
